Camp Fort, in partnership with WeekendPE, is where summer camp comes to life.

The Fort offers two summer camp options (Monday - Friday) designed to keep kids moving, learning, and having fun in a safe, high-energy environment with both outdoor and indoor activities.

Camp FORT FAQ

What are the daily activities?

Camp Fort runs Monday - Friday
Mondays and Tuesdays:
Activities in the morning, electives in the afternoon
Wednesdays: Water Day
Thursdays: Weekend PE in-house fieldtrips
Fridays: Kayaking

Sports Electives:
Pickleball, Soccer, Flag Football, Kickball, Basketball, Dance Parties, Fitness Classes
Enrichment Electives:
STEM, Arts & Crafts, Nature Walks, Chess/Board Games, Music/Karaoke

Color War Activities:
Inflatable Obstacle Course, Tube races, Egg Races, 3 Legged Race, Dodgeball, Handball, Giant Connect Four, Relay Races

Are there indoor air conditioned activities as well?

Yes. We have an air conditioned indoor event center for activities like STEM, arts and crafts, board games, theatre

What should campers bring?

Campers should bring their snack and lunch daily, a water bottle, sunscreen, and a cap. All belongings should be clearly marked with the child’s name.

What should they wear to camp?

Campers are required to wear their Weekend PE camp shirt each day of camp. They should wear athletic shorts and sneakers. On water days, campers should come with their bathing suits and a dry change of clothes.

Do you offer healthy lunches?

Yes. Camp Fort offers an optional, chef-crafted lunch program designed to be both kid-friendly and thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients. Meals are created by James Beard nominees and Top Chef alumni, including the culinary team behind The Florida Room, bringing restaurant-level flavor and freshness to every plate.

Each day features balanced favorites like crispy white meat chicken fingers, smash burgers made with a short rib and brisket blend, fresh veggies and fruit, house-made sides, and wholesome snacks. It’s a convenient, elevated option for camper families who want nutritious, delicious lunches without the hassle of packing one each morning.

Does my child need any pickleball experience?

No, kids of all athletic abilities and levels can enjoy our camp. Pickleball will be taught by experienced coaches.

What happens if it rains before or during camp?

Camp will still run as scheduled. Pickleball Camp will take place on our covered courts, and the Day Camp will move indoors or to covered outdoor areas within The Fort facility to stay out of the rain.

Does my child need their own pickleball paddle?

No, we provide starter/learning paddles for all campers. We have paddles available for sale at registration or at the ProShop.

What is the camper to counselor ratio?

about 1:5 for ages 4-5
about 1:7 for ages 6-12
about 1:8 for ages 13-16

Do you offer Discounts for siblings?

Yes, we have a 10% Sibling Discount.

What is your camp cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy: Camps are refundable up to 45 days in advance, less a $50 processing fee per week cancelled.  After 45 days in advance, we can offer a credit IF we are able to fill the spot, less the $50 processing fee per week cancelled. Camps are otherwise non-refundable. 

What safety measures are in place?

Campers are never left unsupervised and coaches continually do head counts throughout the day.

What are the staff credentials?

Our coaches go through a Level 2 background check and are trained by our head coach on all safety precautions. All of our staff has experience with sports and are of college age or older.
