The Fort in South Florida is set to host the Pickleball World Cup from October 27 to November 2, welcoming over 3,000 players from more than 80 countries. The event marks pickleball’s growing global appeal, transforming the sport from a casual pastime into an international phenomenon.
Players from around the world — including Armenia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and South Africa — will compete across 43 courts in a format that includes pool play and single-elimination playoffs. Matches are rally-scoring to 15, and finals go best two-of-three.
The Fort’s co-founder Brad Tuckman calls the event a milestone for both the city and the sport. Alongside the competition, visitors can enjoy The Fort’s new lakeside restaurant, Florida Room, helmed by celebrity chefs Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth, offering Southern–coastal dishes and courtside views.
