Membership Types
What types of memberships are offered (individual, family, group)?
There are a variety of membership plans tailored to the needs of individuals. The Membership types are outlined on the Fort Lauderdale Pickleball membership page. If you have a specific need, please feel free to contact us.
What proof is needed for a Snowbird membership?
Utility bill from outside of Florida that matches the name on your state government ID (driver's license for example.
Do you offer corporate membership plans or discounts for employees of certain companies?
We are excited to accommodate Corporate memberships at The FORT. We evaluate these types of memberships after the general public has been given the opportunity to become members. Please contact us to get the process started.
Is there a trial period or a way to try out the facilities before committing to a full membership?
The FORT offers a DAY PASS for individuals to enjoy The FORT experience.
Are there any age restrictions for members or specific age-related programs?
Pickleball is played by all ages and are all welcome at The Fort. Children under 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, unless registered in a Youth Program.

What are the main benefits of becoming a member?
A FORT membership provides a place to learn and develop your game while providing a social space to enjoy friends and family. Membership allows you to take control of your time! You can schedule a game with friends, join a foursome at your skill level, or hop on an open play court. You choose when and how you want to play.
What facilities and services are included with the membership?
At The FORT, members have it all. Play in the world’s first purpose-built stadium, enjoy 4 Grand Stand courts, 14 covered courts, and 24 oversized pickleball courts. Savor world-class food and drinks at the LAKEHOUSE, overlooking an 8-acre lake and Center Court. Plus, enjoy a wellness center, locker rooms, and plenty of parking.

Great question! It depends on your membership type or Day Pass, with options ranging from 5 to 14 days.

Are there any regular events, tournaments, or leagues that members can join?
Yes! Members at The FORT can join regular events, tournaments, and leagues throughout the year. These include:
Weekly Leagues: Competitive and recreational leagues for all skill levels.
Monthly Tournaments: Friendly competitions with prizes and bragging rights.
Social Events: Pickleball mixers, holiday-themed events, and community-building activities.
APP Tour Stops: The FORT will host two nationally televised APP tour stops, attracting top players from around the country and offering members a front-row seat to the action.

Is equipment provided to members, or do I need to bring my own?
The FORT Pro Shop has everything you need, from shoes and socks to paddles and balls. Members can demo top paddle brands for free, and paddles are available for rent for non-members. Balls are affordably priced and ready at check-in or on the court when you arrive.

Cost, Payment and Transfer Options
How much does a membership cost?

Are there different payment plans available?
Payments can be made monthly or annually via credit card or ACH. Annual payments receive a discount and additional guest passes.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership plan if my needs change?
Members can upgrade or downgrade plans with a one month transition period. Visit our membership page to view options. Can I transfer my membership?
FORT memberships are non-transferable.
Discounts and Promotions
Are there any discounts for long-term memberships, referrals, or special promotions?
All membership plans offer an annual payment discount. Compare monthly, snowbird and annual plans on our membership page.
Are there any family or group membership plans available, and what do they include?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for couples and families from the same household, as well as for active military, veterans, first responders, seniors, and teachers.

Cancellation and Refunds
What is the process for cancelling a membership?

What is your reservation cancellation policy?
Fort Lauderdale Pickleball Club has a strict cancellation policy.
Players will be responsible for the total court booking fee for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the time of a reservation. Please add all other players to your booking to ensure your account is not charged the entire amount.
Please Note:
By clicking book, you are paying the individual court booking fee for yourself and for any other players added by you who you have selected to ‘include payment’. The total court booking fee will always reflect the sum of individual court booking fees for all four players.
If no other players are added as part of your booking or checked in at the time of your reservation, you will be responsible for the total court booking fee for yourself plus three nonmembers and charged accordingly during peak or off peak hours.
Off-peak hours are Monday - Friday from 6am to 4pm ET.
If there is a rainout, customers will get a full refund issued to club credit.

What is your refund policy?
In most instances, refunds will be issued as club credits.
What is your returns policy?
The FORT Pro Shop offers a 14-day return policy. Items must be returned in new, unused condition with the original packaging and receipt for a full refund or exchange.
General Questions
How do I book a court, and are there any reservation requirements or limitations?
All FORT programming is scheduled out monthly and is posted on the FORT website and FORT app. Members can book an activity on line or at the Pro Shop.
Can I bring guests, and if so, are there any fees or restrictions?
Members are Ambassadors of The FORT and are encouraged to promote the club with family and friends. Guests can purchase a to enjoy a day playing at The FORT. Some membership plans include complimentary Day Passes. Access throughout the club is free to those who do not wish to play pickleball. Access to the Lakehouse and Lakeside is always free and open to the public. Certain amenities and games might require a small fee.
Members of The FORT are proud ambassadors and encouraged to share the club with family and friends. Guests can purchase a Day Pass to enjoy pickleball, and some membership plans include free passes. Non-playing guests are welcome to explore the club, with free access to the Lakehouse and Lakeside. Certain amenities and activities may have a small fee.
What are the club’s hours of operation, and are there any seasonal changes?
The FORT is open all year round from 6am-Midnight. Changes to the schedule are posted on the FORT website and FORT app.
What health and safety measures are in place, especially in light of COVID-19?
The FORT follows city, county and state health guidelines.
